A couple of times now we have approached a check point in chaos around 4 p.m. We have understood that this is caused by a changing of the watch and a small military exercise that takes place in connection with this. In order to get a better impression we came earlier today. Below parts of this top secret exercise is showed.
Exercise
The frustrating thing is that this is conducted in the middle of the civilian traffic and that this is stopped in the meantime. Previously we have recorded waiting time over 45 minutes due to this.
The good news today is that it seems like our presence made the situation a little easier for the people. We even managed to convince the remaining soldiers to restart the traffic when the exercise moved behind the tower (see the video). Normally both lines towards the checkpoint are filled with vehicles and its frustrated drivers and passengers, but not today…
